Me

As a research-driven product designer and maker, I focus mainly on sustainability and furniture making. However, I hesitate to define myself by this, as I remain interested in many other disciplines of design, such as architecture, interior architecture, fashion, technology, transport and products within sport. I view the world of design in a way where I hope to leave my mark on whatever it is I am working on in a positive way. I aim to pair consumer needs and making the most of potential gaps in the market with creating sustainable and long-lasting products. Being confined to one discipline seems counterproductive for the way I like to work, which is in a sporadic, but calculated manner. Working digitally and physically, I aim to create products that are functional, sustainable and informed by a meaningful narrative.
